To address this need, The Life School presents the Gita Hackathon Contest 2026, a national-level initiative designed to help students understand and apply the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to modern-day situations.
What Is the Gita Hackathon?
Gita Hackathon is not about memorising verses. It is a scenario-based, application-oriented competition where students learn how to use Bhagavad Gita principles to handle real-life challenges such as stress, confusion, ethical dilemmas, and decision-making.
The contest helps students develop:

Who Can Participate?
- Students from Class 6 to Class 12
- Individual participation
- Age-appropriate exam pattern and difficulty level, ensuring fairness for all classes

All registered students receive, completely free of cost:

Competition Format
The contest consists of two rounds, conducted in an open-book format that promotes understanding rather than rote learning.
Round 1 β Prelims (Online)
- Date: 31 May 2026
- MCQ-based, scenario-driven questions
- Syllabus: Gita Hacks Book
- Duration: 60β90 minutes
π Only the Top 100 students qualify for the Final Round.
Round 2 β Finals (Offline)
- Date: 14 June 2026
- Advanced MCQs with deeper analytical scenarios
- Duration: 60β90 minutes
Evaluation & Fairness
Students are evaluated based on:
- Accuracy of answers
- Number of correct responses
- Time taken (tie-breaker, if required)
- System-generated rankings
The evaluation process is transparent and final.
